Shahid Kapoor, the director duo Raj & DK, and Jawan director Atlee were all awarded last year for their efforts. Shah Rukh gave Rani a hug and a kiss when they met at the function. However, some fans thought Kareena disregarded Shahid at the function.
About Jawan
Jawan, released in September of last year, grossed over ₹1000 crore worldwide. Atlee directed the film, which starred Shah Rukh, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Deepika Padukone, and Sanjay Dutt (in extended cameo roles).
About Animal
Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, was one of the biggest hits of 2023. However, it was also chastised for its portrayal of misogyny. The film’s main cast included Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol.
Animal is about a troubled father-son relationship, and Ranbir plays Rannvijay Singh, who seeks revenge after his father is assassinated. The film grossed over ₹800 crore at the box office.
